Feeding our dogs is paramount to choose premium dog food that is suitable for their age and breeding position. Our dogs are regularly as per Vet advice- wormed and flea treated. Our dogs are vaccinated, registered with our local council and each dog is microchipped.
We love taking our dogs out for one on one time into our community. They love the car and look forward to going out and about to meet people and enjoy their time with us.
Busy fieldline Golden Retrievers are now out of our breeding line so we can provide you with the expected gentle and graceful, fun and joyful as well as kind and endearing Golden you are looking for. Working lines of dog (fieldline Retrievers) are very busy and require large spaces and extra activity. Your Bellawai Golden Retreiver will still be a great companion for an active family without the extreme high energy of a fieldline. Fieldline heritage is typically from Canada and are the slender type with less feathers and a copper gold coat.

Timotheus (Timmy) is 100% Golden Retriever DOB 15/02/2023. DNA tested clear of all genetic disease and PennHIP scored with impressive 0.43 score (Central 90% range is 0.32 – 0.79 for the breed).
Timmy is growing to be a strapping beautiful gold boy with a gorgeous flat coat. Destined to be a very big lad by tracking his infant weight and current age, we know he will stud beautiful babies with Poppy, Joy or Willow when he is of age by rules of DogsNZ. Timmy is incredibly loving and a fun dog to be around. He literally melts when he meets people and is a wonderful friend in our team. We are excited to welcome his first litter of conceived puppies with Lily in June 2025

Joy is a gentle smoosh character who runs with her tail wagging which is so adorable to watch. She has always been such a happy loving girl. Joy isn’t a fan of water for swimming. She will happily carry multiple teddy bears in her mouth at once however! We absolutely adore Joy and her terrific nature and know that with such a wonderful match with Finnegan she will have gorgeous happy babies from her positive influence on them.

Poppy is our super gentle long legged golden girl. She has the most wonderful nature and loves everyone with the sweetest golden heart personality. Poppy is a lover of all animals and mothers everyone in a calm and gentle way. We have loved raising Poppy and she has been a wonderful Mum to the babies she has bred here at Bellawai. Poppy has a beautiful mid gold colour saddle and ears with cream accents. A true golden colour gem.

Willow is our beautiful English Cream with a round large body and deep jowls and a feathered ruff. She was a super relaxed nature like Poppy and a smart mind. Her beautiful cream fur is rich and thick like a Polar Bear. Willow loves carrying teddy bears around and is everyone’s friend. She is our first greeter here at Bellawai of visitors and helps pick her people that we are to like.

Rosa is a very sweet girl a popular friend of all of our dogs and also at her doggie day care she plays at with a variety of other dogs. Rosa is purebred Golden Retriever and has had her first litter which she raised beautifully as a caring an confident Mum. Rosa is a soft, gentle and confident dog with beautiful golden coat.
Rosa is a finer structured girl (her father is a sturdy lad so she has the genes to produce both fine and stocky babies). Rosa is an ideal match for our stud Finnegan.
